www.swimforcleanwater.org The Swim For a Healthy World: In 2007, Christopher Swain will begin a 2300 mile (3700km) swim from the Great Lakes, to Washington, D.C.  Beginning at the outlet of the Great Lakes at Kingston, Ontario, Canada, Swain will swim the entire length of the St. Lawrence River before heading south along the Atlantic coasts of Canada and the United States.  When he reaches the mouth of the Potomac River, he will head north to Washington, D.C. Along the way, he will advocate not only for healthy oceans, but for all of us to begin turning our everyday purchases into Earth-friendly choices.
